Is the Cost of Your Birth Control Too High?

St. Vincent may be able to help.

Thanks to Choose When a Caring for Colorado initiative, SVH has received grant-funded birth control to distribute to uninsured, low-income, or underinsured patients and young people seeking confidential services.

How does it work?

  • The contraceptives will be distributed through the SVH Primary Care Clinic.
  •  A medical visit is required for the service.  There may be an additional visit depending on the patient’s choice of contraceptive.
  • Potential assistance with the cost of the medical visit(s) is possible if the patient qualifies for the SVH Sliding Fee Scale.
  • Available contraceptives include:
  1. Depo-Provera Injection
  2. Mirena (IUD)
  3. Nexplanon, (implant)
  4. Male and female condoms
