Direct Access Testing (DAT)

In recent years there has been an increase in people who want to proactively manage their health and healthcare expenses. Direct Access Testing (DAT) enables this involvement, providing individuals more control over their personal health information. With DAT, a patient has the option to order selected lab tests without a physician’s order.

This option for lab tests is simple, confidential, inexpensive, and offers patients the ability to be in charge of their health and disease prevention. Results are mailed directly to you, for later review with your provider.

Payment for the Direct Access Laboratory Test is required at the time of service by cash, check, or credit card. A waiver explaining DAT specifics must be reviewed and signed prior to services. Persons under the age of 18 will require a parent or legal guardian’s signature.

DAT testing hours: M-Fr 8 a.m.-6 p.m.

For appointments or questions about DAT, please call 719-486-0230
