Gratitude For St. Vincent Health
My husband and I would like to express our gratitude to St. Vincent Health for the staff’s attentiveness and professionalism when he was hospitalized in September. A serious infection which turned into sepsis occurred after a fall from his bicycle. The EMTs responded immediately and after stabilizing him transported him to a hospital in Denver. Upon his release we attempted to administer the necessary antibiotics at home with no success.
Hospitalization was required and what a blessing to have St. Vincent’s one mile from our home. There was no need to go to Denver or Frisco for care which in stressful times makes an enormous difference. The staff could not have been kinder or more attentive. There was never a time that we did not feel that he was receiving the best possible care. The new hospital is a credit to this community and a real treasure. It has been important to us for the entire 17 years we have been a part of the Leadville community, never more so than in September. Thank you St. Vincent’s.
