St. Vincent Health Imaging Director

Michelle got her start as an imaging professional in the military and has never looked back! Her career has included 20 years in both military and civilian hospitals that ranged from large to small facilities.  She was drawn to Leadville and Lake County by the mountains and recreation - but also by her belief that every person deserves access to healthcare.

Michelle feels honored to be part of the clinical team at SVH, her experience has shown that rural medicine saves lives.  When treating patients, she puts herself in their shoes and treats others the way she would want to be treated. 

Michelle and her family (husband and 2 teenagers) moved from Syracuse, KS where they had goats, cows, horses, chickens, dogs, cats, and a pig; they downsized to just dogs and cats. She truly loves her occupation and St. Vincent Health – though she misses her pig!
